What is MiddLab, you ask?
MiddLab is an online platform that showcases research papers, presentations, projects, videos, websites, and any other exceptional products Middlebury and Monterey Institute students, faculty, and staff produce.
Through MiddLab, we hope to share our research with a wider academic and professional audience. If you want to know what students and faculty are researching in a specific department, this info should be one or two clicks from our home page. No matter where you are in the world, you can connect with MIDD-MIIS research projects and engage our growing community. Read more about MiddLab’s goals.
How do we submit research to MiddLab?
MIIS is currently represented on MiddLab by only five projects, and we’d love to see many more! Here are a few examples:
- Team Peru: Empowering Indigenous Communities towards Sustainable Development in the Sacred Valley
- One Less, Una Menos: Students Working to End Human Trafficking
- Towards a Verified Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone
Do you know of a research project that should be featured on MiddLab? Please have students, faculty, and staff complete this short webform, or submit their work to the Digital Learning Commons for review. You can email the Digital Learning Commons anytime at miisDLC@gmail.com.
